Each child at Empower is allocated a host family to stay with for the duration of their stay.

The small size of our bespoke, boutique school enables us to work closely with the very

finest, hand-picked Jersey host families in order to provide quality homestay

accommodation, as we realise that staying with a high quality host family plays a significant role in the success of a child's stay. Our host families welcome our students into their homes all year round and provide happy, relaxed, nurturing accommodation throughout their stay in Jersey. We pride ourselves in selecting our host families based on their friendliness, supportive, caring and reassuring nature, their approachability and warm homely welcome.

 

Our host families are devoted to making your child’s stay in Jersey as rewarding and enjoyable as possible. We work diligently with our host families to ensure that our students feel well cared for and comfortable at home. We always ensure that our students are placed with appropriate families where they will feel happy and secure and will have the opportunity to become one of the family. Host families will provide full board, including breakfast, a packed lunch and an evening meal. They will also provide airport or harbour transfers and daily transport to and from the school.
